About AAR Membership
Membership in the American Academy of Religion is on a calendar year, from January 1 to December 31. Reminder notices are sent out regularly urging members to renew before their membership expires on December 31 so that benefits will continue into the new calendar year. Those joining after January 1, can request that missed publications be sent to you.
Membership dues are based on annual income. The rates can be found on a current membership form or as you join/renew online. Those living outside the United States must pay a $10 international mailing fee.
