Susan Snider joined the AAR in 2001. She is the Director of Religionsource and the Associate Director of External Relations. Susan’s primary responsibilities are managing Religionsource, the AAR’s premier referral service for journalists, and administering the annual AAR Awards for Best In-Depth Reporting on Religion, which recognize outstanding religion newswriting in North America. She also coordinates media relations for the Annual Meeting, submissions to the Marty Award, and humanities advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill.
Susan has a bachelor’s degree in religion and philosophy from Wesleyan College.
